With Nuxt, Nuxt Content, Tailwind CSS and a sprinkle of my own code, all of the requirement boxes were checked. Of course there is still room for improvement, but for now it allows continued blogging about a maker journey.
It’s been almost a month since work started on revamping the website. Along the way, it was a chance to work with frameworks that hadn’t even been on the radar before. It also felt like the right moment to call it done—for now. Of course, a project is never completely finished; it evolves through iterations.
The end result is in a good place, but there’s still room for improvement and plenty of bugs to fix. A couple more requirements also surfaced along the way, like “infinite scrolling” and loading posts on demand rather than all at once. Those will get implemented (and fixed) over time, but the core functionality is now in place.

Have definitely come a long way since the first version in 2016.
What's coming up?
In the coming months, there will be updates about the projects in progress. To keep things interesting, here are some teasers:
Holo pet
A virtual companion that follows you everywhere and interacts with your inputs.

NZ - NorthIsland Motorcycle Trip
Snaps of an epic motorcycle ride through the North Island on an adventure-touring motorcycle.

Hololens projects
Breast phantom model imaging project on a Hololens 2

Cars and Trips
Separate series on automotive and camping stuff

If these teasers spark any interest, keep an eye on the blog. And if spoilers are more your style, check out Instagram for previews.
PS. If you spot any issues on the new blog, please leave a comment or send a tweet.
